Our Main Programs
Infant Program
Our infant program enrolls children from 3 months to 1 year old . When your infant is in our care, we are committed to providing a nurturing and caring environment that meets your needs and the needs of your child. As your infant grows and changes – which happens on a daily basis at this stage – we make changes, too, so development and learning unfolds naturally.
Toddler Program
Our toddler program enrolls children from 2 year to 3 years old . Toddlers are explorers on the road to learning. They walk all over, eat table food and often take just one nap a day. In a safe and nurturing environment, your little adventurer will find their voice, make new friends, become toilet-trained and develop confidence in newfound abilities.
Preschool Program
Preschoolers are becoming confident learners. We take their confidence to the next level with hands-on education. Your 3 to 4 year old is ready for structured learning activities that touch on early literacy, math, science and social studies. Our program balances these subjects with opportunities for independent exploration and a healthy dose of running, jumping and dancing.
Using Research Supported Tools
Specializing in infants to preschoolers, we use the Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ) as a tool to meet every child’s needs. With help from parents, ASQ helps to identify their strengths and areas for growth. Each infant toddler or preschooler will then be placed on a custom curriculum plan with goals designed to help lead them on the path to kindergarten readiness.
School Age Program
We offer a before-and-after school child care program for our school-age students (ages 5 through 12 years). We are proud to offer enrichment opportunities that accomplish two major goals: reinforcing the elementary school academics and encouraging personal growth by cultivating life skills, strong relationships and a sense of self-worth.
Summer Camp
During the summer we have an activity and experience-based curriculum. Though we continue daily lessons, we no longer assign homework and we increase the number of trips & crafts. Field trips are twice a week. And, in between time we take regular trips to the park and pull out our 20-foot waterslide as much as possible. Summer camp at CFCC is loads of fun.
Activities and Perks
Gardening
To encourage a love for science, health and nutrition, the children maintain their own garden that they water and manage throughout the season.
Homework Club
After returning from school, our school-agers utilize this time to sit with each other during homework club. We assist our little scholars when needed.
School Closed Days
When school is closed Clark Family Childcare is open. We spend spring break summer break and so many more doing crafts, going on trips, singing and dancing.
Field Trips
During the summer we take outings twice a week. And, in between the time we are at the park, playing on our playground and splashing on our waterslide.
Celebrations
We have several annual celebrations. Our children love spirit week, the Harvest Festival, Dr. Suess’s birthday and our black history month activities.
Healthy Meals
The habits that we create as children become our reality. We serve a nutrition-packed breakfast, lunch, and snack every day.
Cooking Lab
Our little ones help to cook and prepare some of their own meals. Cooking Lab encourages our picky eaters to try new foods and creates a sense of ownership.
A Clear Schedule
Children need structure. We stick to a firm schedule every day. Our children know what to expect and stay on task. This allows our day to flow nicely.
